"The Illuminatus! Trilogy" by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson is
very good. Though not totally sci-fi, it deals (in an outrageously
hilarious manner) with many topics that extropians find of value.

Also, David Zindell's books "Neverness", "The Broken God" and "The
Wild" are exceptionally well written and also deal with immortality
(physical and mental) and a large number of scientific progresses
--including nanotech, cryonics, uploading, cloning etc.
