Eliezer:

Good luck in Atlanta. I moved from Georgia to Milwaukee a few years ago
and frankly found it a vast improvement, but then I was living in a fairly
rural area (Rome). Atlanta is so not bad, but you still may be in for a
little culture shock.

Oxford Books in Buckhead is the best bookstore. Usually some interesting
goings on at Georgia Tech as well. They had a Nanotech Interest Group
there a few years ago, but I don't know about now. The library at
University of Georgia-Athens is very good, if you are up for the drive.
There were one or two cryonicists in the area, but I don't know if they
are still there. That's about all the transhumanism that I know of there,
but I'm 4 years out of date.
