The massive use of planets will only be necessary if the capability of
computation hits Moore's Laws type bottlenecks and are unresolvable for
centuries. The Earth and the Moon and Mars have lots of silicon to last for
centuries even at the most ludicrous geometric expansions. By the time planet
consumption becomes a log jam issue for extropians the Age of
Uber-Computation will have come and gone and so will many grandchildren on
this list. We can't worry about everything.
