I have been informed that there has been speculation about the cause of
my absence. The reason is that I was busy moving to Atlanta, had to
check my email by telnet in the meantime, and didn't want to have to
pick my personal messages out of a flood of Extropian items. I do *not*
have a girlfriend, I am *not* fleeing the police, and I have *not* been
entangled in a deadly web of sex, lies, and revenge. I hope this
reassures everyone.
