Well, if you define "miracle" as an event that appears inexplicable by the
known laws of nature, seems to me that the existence of matter, energy, life
and consciousness all fit the bill. This of course does not necessarily
mean that a holy (or even friendly) ghost in the sky is responsible. It
just means that these "miracles" are beyond the comprehension of the
greatest known intelligence in the world (us).
Even though I no longer believe in "the Creator", I am no less in awe of
creation. And even if we ever figure out how matter, energy and/or life got
started, my guess is that we will also find out how unlikely it is that all
the necessary circumstances would arise so as to make these things possible
(or on the other hand, how infinitely many universes there are/have
been/will be which have not been blessed with such treasures intelligent
life). So as agnostic as I may be, you can count me in as a believer.
