There are several resources on the Internet to get more familiar with some of
the ideas you mentioned. A good starting point is Ander's Transhuman site at
http://www.aleph.se/Trans/ which contains enough material to keep you busy for
a good while. Regarding nanotechnology, you might want to check out the online
version of Drexler's "Engines of Creation" which I believe can be found at
http://www.foresight.org/ Ander's site contains some good material on
uploading.
