My idea has been to promote cloning as a limited power in response to God's
awe inspiring might (this is of course, if I am arguing with a theist). We
still need a mother for the clone. We still need the basic building blocks
of life (or creation), that is, DNA and all other cellular apparatus. The
amount of dependence on nature that cloning involves is incredible. There
are foods that involve more chemistry than cloning (or at least I think
there are, I cannot provide evidence at the moment).
