Sounds like a great idea (and not only because I was on the list :-).
Ideally, many of us might provide our personal select lists, so that you
can enhance your mail by joining a select-list belonging to somebody you
generally agree with.

Hmm, I see some fascinating applications for sociological cluster-analysis
software here to help people find their ideal select lists. One could even
use set operations to personalize further... Sasha, this is quite close to
some of your old proposals.

As a transhumanist and net.resident, I applaud this idea. We need more
proactive people!
