Whatever works.

But if you really want to prove that you've quit, you need to face all of
those excuses you just listed and not smoke, i.e. realize that your fiancee
is gone, no more sex and love platitudes from her. Then carry a pack of
cigarettes and a lighter with you always (for a couple of weeks say, nothing
too inconvenient for your new intended lifestyle), go to smokey bars, hang
around your friends who smoke and laugh at you telling you you'll never make
it, etc.

Don't look at it as losing (the pleasure of smoking), look at it as gaining
(better immunity and health). You may congratulate yourself for giving up
this time after the ritual is over, but you've only addressed the symptom,
not the cause.

Sincerely, congratulations so far, from one ex-smoker to another.

cheers,
    Simon
