But since then the public has been repeatedly rubbed in the face with how
incredibly untrustworthy and duplicitous the US government is. It is hard
now to imagine anything, however terrible, that might not be covered up
by the same group that has tried to cover up so much in the past 9 years
or so. So while I agree with what I think you *really* believe, that this is
merely unlikely, I can imagine that it seems very possible to a lot of people.
