You take any measurable definition of information and evolution
can produce it. The theoretical gymnastics are the attempts to deny
this simple fact. If you use commonsense definitions of information
like "does it inform?" then of course evolution produces information.
Put different groups in different environments, come back in a few
generations, and check adaptations. The adaptations inform you of
the environment. Duh.
