And your method of discussion is not listening to others and trying to
understand what they are saying, it is trying to enforce your own opinions
and largely ignoring what you don't immediately understand, without any
visible effort to make sense of it all.

Come on - did you really try to understand what he was saying? Or did you
just scan through it all, see that there is nothing compatible with *your*
manner of thinking (surprise!), and then discard it as "junk"?
