evmick's reactionless drive

I did some calculations on using light for propulsion. If one
takes a standard lead acid car battery with a light bulb, a
parabolic mirror behind it to make it a beam, out in deep
space, the battery/light beam would pick up some velocity
as the battery discharged.

I estimated that my truck's 12 volt 100 amp-hour battery
has a mass of about 25 kg. Fully charged to fully discharged
the whole outfit would gain on the order of half a millimeter
per second. Not the most efficient way to pick up some
delta vee. spike
