Sooner or later, MAD must be replaced with MAS, mutual assured
survival. This is needed because there are too many yahoos that
have nukes. MAD works if only 2 or 3 yahoos have them.

With advancing antimissile missile technology you get MA$, which
is mutual assured spending. Everyone gets to go home and ponder
how pointlessly wasteful is war. spike
