They don't talk much about mechanisms etc in the article but it *sounds*
like a bit of a breakthrough.
Interesting that the articles states Alzheimer's is not a matter of if, but
of
when. I've a 89 year old grandmother that's had it (started showing
symptoms) for a couple of years. Stopping it in animal models sounds
good. As does the part about the brains having the capacity to repair
once further damage is stopped.
