I see where the 14th incarnation of the Dalai Lama
will be in San Francisco this weekend:

I believe this peaceful monk will feel right at
home in this grand and generous city. I feel
he should live here now instead of that monastery
in the Vatican, or wherever he now resides. I
believe his previous 13 incarnations were all good
San Franciscans, so his arrival here will be a
long-awaited homecoming.
Anyway I was planning to be over there tomorrow,
so if I should meet him on the street, would it
be proper to address him with a formal "Greetings
Mr. Lama." or would it be OK to use the less formal
"Well, hello Dalai! Its so nice to see you back
where you belong."
