    Ja, but those kinds of sentences will help protect
    me from Alzheimers, the disease which I fear the
    second most. The disease I fear the most is...
    well, I forget. But I suspect that the results of
    the study might be simpler than they appear: it could
    be that smart people are able to think their way
    around Alzheimers to some limited extent, kind of
    like having a reservoir of strength. Max could
    get MS (evolution forbid) and after a few years
    still be stronger than me. In an analogous fashion,
    perhaps our brains can hold a reservoir of smart.

    The extropian archives might some day provide a
    valuable research tool.
