I think a variety of letters is probably the best way to go. Diplomacy is
best, but sometimes an aggressive stance is good - and anger expressing
something that hits a nerve is meaningful. Although I don't think it is a
good idea to insult.
I think you are right about local issues, although Alcor had a hard time in
Southern California early on, but that changed. Cryonics might do best in
high tech locations.
