<<If America heeds you call to squish competition, one day you will be a
broken old man, in a government-run nursing home, in an economy shattered by
trade wars, with your "maximum wages" all eaten up by inflation, and the
local unionized doc will be our of your financial reach. There will be no
H-1B nurses willing to come in and wipe your feces.
Remember about the long term.

If I live ling enough, Rafal, to earn my decrepit-ness; I suspect I shall not
be care much for the damage to the economy, whichever policy rules the day.
All those things can happen to America and other lands, despite deciding to run
the economy your way, my way, or somebody else's. There may be no H1-B
nurses, hopefully, there would be Moravec's 2nd or 3rd generation robots to do the
cleanning, but I am not counting on that either.
