Mike Lorrey Eliminated From Extropians List (was RE: META: List Changes)

    The word is out that long time poster Mike Lorrey has
    run afoul the list authorities for some unspecified
    reason. This is pretty hard to believe. I don't know
    exactly what list rules he is alleged to have broken,
    but in my opinion this really bodes ill for the future.

    So who else has been chopped? I really found Mike Lorrey's
    posts to be intelligent and extremely informative. He will
    be sorely missed.

    The list rules used to say "engage in personal attacks"
    but are now to be "harmful to our community"? For one,
    I don't like the sound of that. (I hope that this remark
    itself by me is not taken as "harmful to the community".)

    It's remarkable that there haven't been any on-line
    complaints that I've been aware of. I wonder how
    recent are these complaints that you refer to. I for
    one have not found the list to be problematical.
    There exists courtesy here absent from most such
    forums.
