He can't become president under the Constitution as it is currently
written. While he is old enough, he is foreign born and as such cannot
become president.
On the other hand, given that he is in California, if he becomes
immensely popular as governor there (and via the media, nationwide), if
any attmpt to amend the constitution on his behalf were to be made, he
couldn't choose a better state to live in or govern. California has the
largest congressional caucus, and therefore has a superior strategic
position, on raw numbers, to amend the Constitution. On the gripping
hand, though, I doubt that most of those districts would be controlled
by republicans...
