Just checking my local cable listings, I can find at
least 5 channels that broadcast "a near-constant
stream of educational programming". (Stretching the
definition, perhaps: for instance, I'm including
Discovery and its offshoots, The History Channel, et
cetera.) The market is by no means unserved, though
one
could make an argument that it is *under*served...
