### The best interest of a human is for me defined by his/her well-informed,
voluntary actions (definition of "voluntary" is a separate and interesting
subject) - whatever happens as a result of such actions, where the person is
aware of both the direct consequences, and the events prevented by the
action, is in the best interest of a human.
Insofar as humans are informed, and free, they do act in their best
interest, by definition.
Groups of people do not have best interests, or rather, I do not recognize
any interests of groups, aside from the sum of individual interests of their
members.
