I am doing other things. I disagree that action is
needed on this particular point.

Doubtful. The calls are for the government not to
fund
PAMs. Trying to make them illegal would run into
trying to make certain forms of betting - that look
like betting in the present memespace, rather than
elaborate plots to disguise and fund already criminal
activity - illegal, which certain jurisdictions will
not tolerate, even to the point of prevention of
enforcement disobedience if necessary. (Nevada, for
example.)
