As far as I know, John has never called himself a Singularitarian. He
also doesn't seem to use the term "Singularity" much anymore. I'd drop it
myself if I could. Shame about the massively predictable catastrophe
where everyone tries to kidnap the nice poetic word for their own wildly
different usages, wish I'd seen it coming in advance.
