It appears to be headquarted in London, but given my
own past encounters with it, I suspect it is an
entirely online publication (like, say, Wired News).
Circulation numbers and audience appear to be
comparable to Slashdot, although again I do not have
hard evidence (like circulation numbers) so I could
well be wrong. Given its editorial nature, I would
suspect it would usually be very Extropian-friendly,
at least among those staff members who have heard of
us. Which is why this incident is particularly
concerning.

Well, we *are* an organization, and almost any
organization is theoretically capable of conspiracy,
so check.

Check and check. Looks like we tripped his hot
buttons. Our beef is just with him, not The Register
(unless they choose to defend him; I think pointing
out the futility of defending easily disproven lies
may be our best strategy there, for anyone who
contacts them about this).
