because most biologists would say that the power that cancer obtains
from its genetic instability (i.e. high mutation rate) has actually
been recognised for decades, throughout the "war on cancer", and not
all that grossly underestimated.
However, that doesn't necessarily mean there's no way to cure cancer
properly (which is definitely a prerequisite to major life extension).
