I've thought about going to Toronto to see the Somerville
vs. Hughes debate. That's on 29 August, which overlaps one
day of the convention. I haven't decided whether or not to
go, and won't decide until 09 August. If I do go, I'll let
you know off-list. (Have to put frequent flyer points and
hotel points to some use, you know.)
I do recommend visiting the Toronto Transhumanist
Association, specifcally Simon Smith and George Dvorsky,
to anyone visiting the Toronto area.
I suppose this means you won't attend Dragoncon this year.
