Good work on the plugging on the stem cells and Methuselah
Mouse fronts btw, that's *very* smart and focussed advocacy
    imho!

    My view:

Two points (1) one of the hardest things to get ideas
realised is starting a prototype that can then be improved
upon and offers from volunteers like Dan should not be
    taken for granted.

    2) ExI is a brand. There are legitimate reasons for
wanting to protect any brand and there are legitimate
reasons for getting some strongly invested stake holders
like the ExI Board to okay an idea that bears on the
    attractiveness of the brand.

I reckon there is a volunteer willing to start, some
support and the Exi Board gets a chance to consider the
branding consequences and these are not obviously
adverse then I'd recommend going for it.

When I am not so clear on is what process exists
by which the Exi board approves ideas or projects under
the Exi brand. I think there *should* be such a process.

I think much good will could be captured if particular
suggestions could be seen to be considered. I suspect
that time commitments being what they are the Exi board
might find it hard to get really formal on vetting (in a
healthy constructive way) proposals arising as this one
has. This is speculative on my part as I'm based in
Oz not the US and see very few extropes in the meat.

    Regards,
    Brett
