    Christianity rose as a sort of melding of
    Judaism and Greek thought. Eventually the
    mind child far surpassed both of its philosophical
    parents. In our current world with major
    worldviews coming ever more into direct contact
    and resulting in conflict, I see a similar
    melding possible with Christianity and
    Buddhism. Take the best of these two
    guys, throw out the nonsense, mix in a healthy
    dose of the scientific worldview the vision of
    transhumanism, and we have all the makings for
    a robust new religion for the masses.
