Interesting in that there is a potential clash coming up if the op-ed
piece by "John Carter McKnight" regarding the need for the U.S. to
own space to deal with its "strategic interests" has merit...

Side note to spike -- while the Atlas-5 launch is all well and good
would you care to compare its payload capacity to the Energia?
And I'll note that you are using a Russian RD-180 engine as the
main engine...
