I'm not sure that Spike was saying what you think he
was saying. :)
My comment was the fear the software types must
be feeling, knowing that software not only isn't
under any kind of import protection, it is a
product that in principle *cannot* be protected,
since it can be sent over any phone line. It is
a little like what we rocket scientists were
feeling about 10 years ago when we were constantly
reminded about all the good commie rocket scientists
who were driving taxis and would gladly work for
two dollars an hour.
