Exactly how do spammers "win" this way? Moreover, while you have a right
freely to say whatever you want online, you don't have an automatic right to
log on. Pay to play is rule number one.
Freedom of the presses never extended beyond those who owned the presses and
what they were willing to charge to give everybody else access. You want to
speak for free, buy your own press/broadcast station/network. Even then, I may
charge you a fee if you want me to listen to you and I don't feel the need to.
Spam externalizes marketing costs onto the backs of spam recipients who never
agreed to such an imposition.
