The only problem with this perspective is that Robin's ideas perhaps
predate Nick's simulation argument. [ Robin's article was published in
V. 7 of JET (Sep 2001), while Nick's argument appeared only in 2002/2003
to the best of my knowledge. ] So it might be better to say that
Nick had worked out the probabilities that we are in a simulation
based on Robin's speculations of how one might best behave in one...
Ah well -- at least they were both mentioned...
Though it is interesting how extropian/transhumanist ideas seem
to be bleeding over into gollywood scripts. I wonder how long
it will be before the lawyers call requesting use of the MBrain
idea...
