Or hope that Bush's advisers are very wisely advising him to talk to
the muslims in a language they understand and can relate to. Devout
muslims, for the most part, seem to think in a very mythological or
mystical way. Bush's statement to them seems to try to communicate his
own internal dialogue in a way that devout muslims can directly relate
to. This is taking a page directly from how Lawrence of Arabia gained
such respect amongst the arab peoples.
