    excellent exposition, I understand that we engage in building hypotheses,
    but because of lack of direct evidence we cannot make informed choices
    between them, including making the claim that being in a simulation in
    unlikely.

    It is much better to say that our likelihood of being in a simulation is
    undetermined.
