    Working on it. (Gah, that's almost become a mantra,
    answering that question that way. ^_^;)

    Seriously, though: there are companies presently
    working on massively reduced cost to LEO, which in
    turn
    would massively drive down the cost of doing anything
    in space. If you can't contribute engineering talent,
    find one that's at least flying something and see if
    you can get some funding for 'em.

    Once those are profitable, it will become far easier
    to
    make further ventures profitable. For instance, I
    believe it pretty likely that several people will try
    a
    simple run at the moon to collect and sell moonrocks,
    until the bottom drops out of that market from
    oversupply. But let's get the launch costs solved
    first.
