    I think it was Damien who commented that modern
    people have become pathologically skeptical
    (something like that). I hafta wonder what effect
    the Nigerian e-mail blizzard has on kids. We
    all had to learn skepticism, but they have loads
    of bogosity thrust in their faces in the early
    formative years. Will they be better at
    separating the kernel of truth from the
    mountains of bullshit? Or will they not
    recognize it, assigning *everything* to that
    category?
