Public resistance can make a very big difference in terms of how soon
we reach certain transhuman technologies and how they're distributed.
Do you want to be able to benefit from a transhuman procedure in your
home country? Or do you want to have to travel to a clinic in China?

The "resistance is futile" attitude just frightens and motivates the
critics of transhuman technology even more.
