Don't forget the budget. US military spending is approaching $400
billions, while China is around $47 billions. I think it's more an issue
of how much you are willing/capable to spend than anything else.

... and I'm surprised that my country, with its non-existant army, is up
there with $20 billions! Time for some budget cutting...
