Iraq and Syria rumours

    The news rumour mill is saying that a convoy of vehicles came underfire by US
    troops earlier (when ???) today near the Syrian border. They also report that
    Syrian troops were drawn into the firefight. It isn't too clear exactly what
    has happened, but It is believed that some Syria casualties are involved. Im
    sure a better picture will emerge later today.
    Hopefully this isn't the start of the 'Saddam has escaped to Syria so lets
    invade' Scenario.
