Yes this stuff is scary, and getting scarier every day. Especially the part
about monitoring libraries and the Internet to see what people are reading.
Here is another scary idea. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) wants a remote-control
button to destroy people's home computers if they are viewing stuff they
shouldn't. In this particular case, copyrighted music files. They not only
want to monitor what you're viewing online, now they want to have remote
control access to take punitive access by remote control. Hackers would
love this ability.
