I once emailed Hans Moravec (back on April 2002) to get his reaction, if a
quark star would have even more massive computing power than his conception of a
neutron star, that utilized neutronium. I never received a reply and decided
that Professor Moravec is a busy guy and dropped the question. Anyone here
have any hand-waving guesses if a quark start converted to a computer, would be a
candidate for massively, hyper-computing, worse, no difference?

Dr. Sandberg stated:
<<I sincerely hope it isn't a quark star. Because if it is, then strange
matter is stable at zero pressure, and that means that planet-gobbling
strangelets are possible. On the other hand, it may also mean quark
matter computers are possible.
