I think Anders also wants to thank agriculture for our ability to do written
math and words.
But there is a difference between thanking agriculture for the ability to do
written math and words, and thanking agriculture for the *appearance* of
written math and words in the archeological record.
To me it looks like the abilities were already long-present and just waiting
for a good reason to appear in the record.
But then of course there is also the "Chariots of the Gods" hypothesis...
