Wouldn't it be just one of those interesting quirks of fate
if the instant someone finally got a quantum computer to
do something really useful that Rafal's "secret thought or
program, accessible to any intelligent individual, which, if
abused, will eliminate your species instantly" were released
(by someone abusing it...).
The only thing slightly funnier that comes to mind right now
is someone tripping over the power cord and yanking it
out of the wall right in the middle of the reloading of
"The Matrix" (the real one -- not the movie).
