Excellent comments on how future threats require future responses. All of
our arguments over past technologies and politics are already becoming
obsolete. We seem to proclaim that the future is radically different from
the past, but we still fall into our old modes of dealing with it. New
modes of responses will be required. If we can't keep this in mind and
adapt appropriately, how can we expect anybody else to?
