I would distinguish between literature and fiction. I don't believe
that fiction is an essential part of literature. So I do read some
literature, yes (in an extremely selective way, though), and it
occasionally include some fictional elements.
To me, your list of unrelated questions is a modest attempt at
literature, for example. Humour in general is a particular case of
literature.
In fact, most people restrict their attempts at literature to humour.
(In some special cases, I have had the feeling that people were
practicing such restriction in a "nervous" way: actively denigrating
the very idea of literature, while trying hard to overcome their own
literary inhibition.)
