Ben,
I have kept my predictions private my private opinion has been that
after Iraq the US will engage in a strenuous diplomatic campaign against the
Saudi's. We have cut the Al Qaeda off from the pipeline money in
Afghanistan. Now, we will get Iraq back into production as a safety valve
against the Al Qaeda going after the Saudis for even more money.
Apparently we, or our allies, blocked the Al Qaeda in Kashmir and have
pressured them severely in Singapore and the Phillipines. I don't know the
result of the bombing on Bali.
Now, the bombing in Saudi Arabia has come at a very opportune time.
The Al Qaeda has publically embarrassed the Saudis just as the US starts
pressuring the Saudis to back away from supporting bin Ladin.
I would appreciate hearing your thoughts.
