Sorry for that lame sarcasm. I was just getting a little testy -- it seems I
can't even write about the pleasures of eating a handful of chilled
blueberries without people trying to find a hole in my argument. :/
But seriously, I think of the climate in northern Europe when I think of the
climate in which many of my own ancestors probably lived and evolved. I'm
sure cold weather was common, along with chilled berries. This is to say
nothing of the ice-ages that we managed to survive.
