Actually, however, as said it's a true statement. People don't know
what they want, they feel it. It usually isn't accurately transcribable
into words. What tends to be missed is that the one offering the
<sneer>"better choice, though the fools don't know it"</sneer> is
usually even more ignorant of what his wants are. He's merely acting on
them. Usually, from my reading of things, what he really wants is power
and control, but frequently I am quite willing to believe that he isn't
even aware that this is what is motivating him.
When saying "People don't know what they want.", never forget that you
are one of the people. And that it's also true for you.
